Team FAQ

IMPORTANT: The Sac Etsy Team is now using the Etsy team forums to communicate. The easiest way to keep up with postings is to subscribe to the Digest; this link is on the left side of the team forum page:

Contact the Team Captain: If you need to contact the Team Captain privately, you can convo Tana through her Etsy shop:

Team Tag: The official team tag is "Sac Etsy Team." It is no longer a requirement that this be used, though you're welcome to continue using it!

Team Promotional Items: We have an awesome lapel pin featuring the team logo waiting for you! Each member can receive one (1) pin, as long as the supply lasts.

Meetups: This team has occasional meetups. We would like to get together on a more regular basis, but someone needs to take on the task of making this happen. If you would like to host a meetup, simply choose a date, time, and location and let the team know!

Blog: The team is seeking additional blog authors! If you enjoy blogging, have experience with the Blogger platform, and would like to blog for the team, please contact Tana.

Facebook: The team’s Facebook page is You are welcome to post there about your Etsy shop (new listings, sales, etc.), craft fairs you're participating in, etc.!

Twitter: The team’s Twitter ID is @SacEtsy. Please tag relevant tweets with the hash tag #SacEtsy so other team members can find your tweets. Many team members have Twitter accounts and love to re-tweet each other!

Pinterest: Members of the Sac Etsy Team are invited to join the Team's group board on Pinterest!

Flickr: Before Pinterest, we had Flickr. Team members are invited to join our Flickr group: Basic Flickr accounts are free.

Team Logo: Danielle, a former team member, designed an awesome logo for the team! We use this to identify the team. Aside from placing the team logo on your blog or web site or Etsy shop, please do not use this artwork or logo without approval from the Team Captain.

Team Apparel: Rhonda, a former team member, turned the team logo into a variety of apparel which is available in her Spreadshirt shop. Rhonda offered to donate $5 from the purchase price of each team logo item to the Team Treasury.

Volunteers: There are many ways you can volunteer, from hosting an occasional meetup to organizing a "crafty day" (or evening) to volunteering for an on-going task such as writing a regular feature article for the team blog. You can read more about the team's volunteer opportunities here! Volunteers are expected to be proactive in their volunteer commitments.

So ... now what?

Join the conversation in the Sac Etsy Team Forum ... we'd love to hear what you have to say!
