Shell, of BRIGHTANDBEAUTIFUL88, invites you to join her at the El Dorado Hills Library Boutique this Saturday, November 14th. She will be showing her charm bracelets laden with tiny original paintings (see close-up below), along with some of her other original creations! The Boutique, sponsored by the "Friends of the Library," will be held at the El Dorado Hills Branch Library, located at 7455 Silva Parkway, in El Dorado Hills, and the hours are 9am to 3pm. Jennifer Tan, a member of the Sac-Etsy team, will be leading a workshop on November 21, 2009. "Handwork in the Dell - Workshop for Parents" is open to adults who want to learn more about fiber arts and how to teach handwork to their own children in a homelearning and/or Waldorf-inspired environment. The workshop's $75 fee includes all materials (including a maple Tunisian hook and some spinning fiber), snacks and a bio-dynamic, organic lunch. Spindles, knitting needles, crochet hooks, extra roving, fiber arts supplies, books, silks and other items available for purchase at a discount during the workshop.
